Liability waiver and Release

In consideration for being allowed to participate in the training organized and run by Adventure Bike Co (hereafter referred to as the “The Company”), I state the following:

I understand that safety is a primary concern. I agree to observe all the local laws, ride safely and sensibly. I am aware that it is my sole responsibility to keep the motorcycle under control at all times, to select safe speeds for the conditions of riding and for my skill level and to respect both the locals and other riders in the training group.  I agree to only ride wearing a helmet, appropriate protective gear and eyewear. Should I ever choose to ride without certain protective clothing, I do so at my own risk. I agree to never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

I am a voluntary participant in this training. I am at least 18 years of age and have a current motor vehicle driver’s license with the proper motorcycle endorsement which has not been revoked, suspended or expired. I am in good physical and mental condition to come to this training with the stamina and conditioning required to fulfill my participation in this training.

I acknowledge and support the judgements and decisions made by the company’s staff with regards to changes in the schedule and my continued participation as a rider. Adjustments and assessments will be made in light of changes in the weather, terrain conditions, and or my ability to participate in a manner that assists in maintaining my safety and the safety of those around me.

I certify that the medical contact information as well as detail provided is up to date and I have insurance that covers me for medical evacuation.

I am not currently taking any pharmaceutical products or other drugs which may impair my ability to ride and I will not ride while under the influence of alcohol.

If I do not follow the rules of the training, I understand that I may be removed by the organizers of this training and no monies will be refunded to me.

I acknowledge the dangers and hazards inherent with riding a motorcycle and understand and accept that all the activities related to the training, including the travel to and from the training could expose me to numerous and unanticipated risks which could result in personal injury, illness or death and could result in damage to my property and or the property of others.

I hereby (a) waive, release and hold harmless the company and organizations the training may benefit (“beneficiaries”), their boards of directors, officers, members, employees and/or volunteers, from any liability whatsoever, including but not limited to liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, or property theft, as a result of my participation in the training and related activities; and (b) indemnify and hold harmless the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by the other individuals or entities as a result of my actions while participating in the training and relates activities.

I further promise not to sue the operators, their boards of directors, officers, members, employees, and/or volunteers and agree to pay all court costs and all reasonable attorney fees that result from my action, civil or otherwise.

Photo’s and videos of this event may be produced. I agree that my likeness may be used in promotional materials and will hold harmless the training company and agree that no monetary or any other consideration will be given for their use. I agree that by uploading any of my own media content to the companies shared media folder I am giving permission to the company to use the media for their own marketing purposes.

I agree prior to the signing of this agreement, I have had adequate opportunity to read and understand and any and all questions have been fully answered to my satisfaction.

Effective as of the date signed below, I hereby agree to be bound by this motorcycle training liability waiver and release agreement and the policies of the company for the training.

I understand that all monies paid for the participation of this training is non-transferable and non -refundable.
